Joel Allen ’69 has authored “A Baseball Journey Through Life.” 

The book is about baseball, baseball parks, and America’s big cities and small towns, wrapped around the author’s life journey, including a chapter on his years at Muskingum. 

A retired software engineer, Joel earned his Muskingum bachelor’s degree in physics and a master’s degree in physics from Texas Christian University.

He and his wife Lidia reside in Tucson, Arizona.

John H. Glenn, Jr. ’43 (1921-2016) is honored with a stained-glass window in San Francisco’s historic Grace Cathedral.

Installed in 1964, the window is set to mark its 50^th Anniversary among the Cathedral’s unique and renowned collection of stained glass and other art treasures, which draws visitors from all over the world.
