The Academic Services Office advances Muskingum University’s mission by providing proactive advising, comprehensive tutoring, and First-Year Experience (FYE) support. University Withdrawal or Leave of Absence

University Withdrawal - Students who plan to exit the University or transfer to another institution should complete the withdrawal process.

Leave of Absence - Students who are unable to finish the current semester or plan to take a break for the next one or two semesters should complete the leave of absence process. A student who takes a leave of absence during a semester will be withdrawn from all classes for the remainder of that term.

Request for Information about University Withdrawal or Leave of Absence Please submit this request to initiate the withdrawal or leave of absence process.  The student will receive a link to the appropriate form in their Muskingum University email account within two business days.  The student must submit the withdrawal or leave of absence form to complete the process.
