Muskingum University has appointed Dr. Flavius Lilly as its 22nd president, effective July 1, 2026, following a comprehensive national search.

Together with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners, we will create opportunities that empower every student to thrive, lead meaningful lives, and shape a dynamic future,” said Dr. Lilly.

Muskingum officially kicked off the 2020 holiday season on campus during the University’s annual “Celebration of Light” on Monday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. The virtual ceremony, aired on Orbit Media’s WMCO 90.7 radio, featured remarks from President Hasseler and Chaplain Julia Wright, and a poetry reading by Dr. Jane Varley, Professor of English and Chair of the Arts and Humanities Division.

The Accelerated BSN program has maintained a 100% first-time NCLEX pass rate for four consecutive years. Designed for individuals who already hold a bachelor’s degree in another field, the 15-month program prepares students to transition quickly and confidently into professional nursing roles.
