Muskingum University today announced the appointment of higher education veteran Dr. Michael Malone as associate vice president for Student Affairs. In this role, Dr. Malone will leverage 30+ years of experience to strategically manage all aspects of the Student Affairs Division while working directly with the provost, assistant dean of students, student affairs directors, and the title IX coordinator to contribute to the University’s success.
Former Muskingum men's basketball coach and All-American student-athlete Gene Ford '74 passed away on Friday at the age of 67.
Coach of the 2018 WNBA champion Seattle Storm and 1977 Muskingum University graduate Dan Hughes has been named to the 2020 USA Women's Basketball National Team Olympic coaching staff.

Muskingum University held its Baccalaureate service May 11 to celebrate the class of 2019. Rev. Anne Weirich, pastor of College Drive Presbyterian Church, shared reflections with the graduating class, family members and friends.
Her sermon, “Choosing the Extraordinary,” encouraged the graduating class to “go out into the world, not leaving this place behind, but taking it with you to transform the whole world.”
