Professor of Art Yan Sun’s oil painting “Fishing Boat Maintenance” was selected for the Oil Painters of America 2021 Eastern Regional Exhibition, hosted by the Art Center Manatee, in Bradenton, Florida from September 28 – October 22, 2021. The exhibition includes 111 paintings from the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Campus Holiday Lighting Goes Green

LED holiday lights illuminate trees and lampposts on Muskingum University’s campus, spreading the beauty of the season and extending the University’s commitment to sustainability.

Christmas Festival Brings Spirit of the Season

Muskingum University’s Concert Choir and Chamber Singers, Christmas Festival Orchestra, and organist Rebecca Abbott, led the community in song during its annual Christmas Festival celebration on Saturday, December 7, at Brown Chapel. Led by Interim Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities Timothy Sarsany, the evening featured choral and instrumental music, poetry, scripture, candlelight, and seasonal carols. The free performance was centered around theme “From Darkness to Light.”

Dancing Wheels Performance on Campus Honors People of All Abilities

Members of the nationally-recognized “Dancing Wheels Company” recently stopped by Muskingum University’s Steele Center for a special performance to honor all individuals. Muskie faculty and students were joined by community members for the event by the professional dance group that was the first in America to stage performances involving dancers with and without disabilities.
