Exercise Science

Exercise Science is the study of human movement during the stress of exercise involving components of biological, physical, and health sciences to explain acute and chronic adaptations like the effects on overall health parameters, pathologies, and its potential to reduce, or reverse, disease progression. The Health Administration major provides students with a foundation in business practices, communication skills, and a deep understanding of the policy issues required to succeed in the evolving world of the health and healthcare industries, along with knowledge and skills specific to administration in a healthcare setting. Health & Fitness

Neuroscience

Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary major which provides a broad-based education relating to brain function and creates a foundation for students to pursue clinical or research-focused careers. Nursing

Our #1 ranked Nursing Program’s traditional pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree will prepare students to become a nurse and make a difference within a career field that is growing faster than the average for all occupations. Muskingum University also has a 100% pass rate for first-time test takers on the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) five years in a row (2016 - 2020). Public Health

A Public Health Studies major provides students with a solid foundation in public health, a field that encompasses all organized community efforts aimed at the prevention of disease and the promotion of health.
