Director of Graduate and Adult Learning Admission
Muskingum University invites applications for the Director of Graduate and Adult Learning (GAL) Admission. Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing (VPEM), the Director will provide strategic leadership and accountability for graduate and adult recruitment, including the development, execution, and continuous improvement of enrollment strategy and outcomes.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with the VPEM, along with the Provost and the GAL Program Directors, to establish and achieve enrollment goals for graduate and adult learners.
- Analyze enrollment data across programs to identify trends, monitor performance, and inform strategic adjustments.
- Build strong partnerships with academic departments and programs, the Office of External Engagement, the Student Experience Division, and other university stakeholders to support GAL recruitment.
- Guide development of communication and outreach strategies for prospective GAL students in collaboration with the Admission Operations team, Academic Affairs, and Strategic Marketing & Communication.
- Lead implementation and optimization of technology platforms - including CRM tools - to support efficient and effective messaging across GAL populations.
- Evaluate and manage partnerships with third-party vendors supporting recruitment, lead generation and enrollment marketing.
- Represent the university at key events and within professional networks to stay informed of trends and best practices in GAL enrollment.
- Responsible for budget duties as assigned.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and new student populations for graduate and adult learning programs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree, with at least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education enrollment management; master’s degree preferred.
- Significant experience in graduate and/or adult recruitment and enrollment strategy.
- Strong staff management, mentoring, and team-building abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across a variety of stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Slate) and data-informed decision-making in recruitment and operations.
