Student Financial Services staff review all students at the end of each semester and students who meet the criteria are automatically awarded the scholarship. Students who receive Returning Student Scholarships will no longer receive Muskie Awards and PLUS Opportunity Awards.
Endowed Departmental Scholarships
Awarded to enrolled students as part of Scholarship Recognition Day held in the spring of each year. Students are selected by faculty in academic departments for awards funded by donors to Muskingum. See individual academic departments for details on scholarships offered.
Whenever an outside organization makes us aware of a scholarship opportunity we will add it to our listing of External Scholarships. Students are responsible for letting Student Financial Services know of any External Scholarships they are receiving. The scholarships must be counted as part of their financial aid and may affect their eligibility for work-study, subsidized loans and in some cases grants or other scholarships. Students may use the External Scholarship Form to report scholarships they are receiving.
