Blackboard has replaced their app "Mobile Learn" with a new app "Blackboard".  You can find the new app in the app stores for iOS, Android, and Windows.

Having problems downloading DOCx files using Internet Explorer?

Commonly experienced with Blackboard, this is an Internet Explorer 7 (or higher version) configuration change. To remedy, adjust your IE browser settings as follows:

  1. Select Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab > Custom Level.

  2. Scroll down to the setting that says "Open Files Based on Content, not file extension" found under the Miscellaneous category.

  3. Set to Disabled. (If this is enabled, IE will treat the files as zip files. If it's disabled, it should open the file.)
