Computer & Network Services

Various types of computer labs are located around campus for use by the Muskingum community. All lab computers are connected to the campus network and the Internet.

Academic Computer Labs

Computer labs should be available unless they are reserved or access to the building has been restricted.  You should refer to 25Live for lab reservations.

These labs are often used as classrooms in the morning and early afternoon.  If you want to reserve one of the labs for your class/group, please reserve the room using 25Live.

If you find a lab room locked, please reach out to Campus Police or Computer & Network Services to have the room unlocked.

Residential Labs

The four labs located in the residential areas are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week during the days when the halls are open for occupancy.

• Finney Hall

• Thomas Hall

• Kelley Hall

There are also computers available in Stadium Heights and Townhouse Apartments.

Printing, Scanning

Printing in the Quad locations is available during open lab hours. Each of the four residential labs has a printer available 24 hours a day. Print accounts are maintained for all students as follows:

• Muskingum students who pay the Technology Fee receive a $20 print account credit at the beginning of each semester.

• Additional credit may be purchased in the Business Office

• Students not subject to the Technology Fee may purchase print account credit in the Business Office.

• Unused Technology Fee credit is cleared at the end of each semester.

• Unused purchased credit is carried forward until graduation.

• Please immediately report print problems to Computer & Network Services; continuing to attempt to print when technical problems exist may continue to charge against your print account.

• Reimbursement requests should be directed to the Business Office.

• The cost of each print request will be automatically deducted from your print account as follows:

Scanning

Image scanning services are provided in a decentralized manner and are available in every quad building as well as the Chess Center. Each building assistant can assist you or you may utilize the services available at the Copy Center.
