Seniors in Muskingum’s acclaimed Nursing department hosted the University’s annual flu clinic on Tuesday, Sept. 29. In coordination with University leadership and the Rambo Memorial Health Center in Muskingum County, immunizations were offered free to all students, faculty and staff to ensure the continued health and wellbeing of the campus community.

In the following correspondence issued in late September to Muskie students, Provost Evangelista outlined detail regarding some important updates to the Spring academic calendar:

Senator Tim Schaffer (R-Lancaster) made a scheduled stop in New Concord to present a proclamation to Muskingum University’s Nursing Department on achieving a 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for the class of 2020. This marks the fifth consecutive year students in the #1 rated nursing program in Ohio* reached a 100% NCLEX pass rate on their first attempt.

Take a talented alumna; sprinkle in a passion for history; add a dash of a competitive spirit with a desire to change the conversation, and you get a Muskie relay team competing in a 680-mile virtual race designed to educate about Civil Rights and to raise resources for voter registration.
