Bio

Dr. Laura Reed is an assistant professor in education where she teaches courses in language arts and literacy.  Before arriving at Muskingum. she taught as an adjunct professor of education for six years at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and served as a classroom teacher.  She is a licensed Reading K-12 and English 9-12 educator and a certified structured literacy dyslexia interventionist.  Dr. Reed is passionate about preparing teachers to meet the diverse learning needs of their students in a manner that recognizes students' strengths, develops self-confidence and independence, and promotes literacy development and enjoyment to the fullest potential.
