Communication Studies

Tom German is a media scholar and practitioner originally from Cambridge, Ohio. Prior to earning his M.A. in Journalism & Communication and a Ph.D. in Communication from the Ohio State University, he worked in television production, including stints as an associate director at CNN Headline News and as a producer at WOSU.TV in Columbus, Ohio. He is currently the primary faculty member of the Digital Media Design program at Muskingum University, where he teaches a variety of courses in communication, media, journalism, and design.
