Major Systems Upgrade
Beginning Friday, May 15, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Muskingum University will begin migrating several of our systems to a new software environment. To complete this upgrade safely and accurately, all access to Colleague and connected services will be unavailable for several days.
WHAT WILL BE UNAVAILABLE
During the migration and testing period, the following systems will be fully offline:
- Colleague UI (used by campus offices)
- MuskieLink (course registration, grades, student information, financial aid awards and offers, etc.)
- Transcript and Diploma Ordering
- Systems connected through Colleague, including:
- eRezLife
- Touchnet
- BankMobile
WHAT WILL STILL BE ACCESSIBLE
You will still have access to:
- Canvas
- Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, etc.)
EXPECTED DURATION
The following offices will be closed beginning May 15th and reopening on May 26th.
- Student Financial Services
- Student Accounts
- Registrar’s Office
- Business Office
After data migration occurs over the weekend, our teams and partner vendors will complete a detailed checklist and system testing before fully restoring access. Updates as to the status of the migration will be provided as information becomes available.
IMPACT FOR STUDENTS
- You will not be able to register for courses, view grades, or access student records in MuskieLink during this period.
- We recommend that you take care of as much business as possible prior to May 15th. Examples could include:
- Billing questions or payments
- Schedule changes
- Check Final Grades (available May 12th for traditional students and May 13th for Grad and Adult Learners)
- Requesting Transcripts
- Financial Aid
We appreciate your patience as we complete this important upgrade. This upgrade will lay the groundwork for improved system performance, reliability, and overall student experience for years to come.
