International Student Orientation

For new students coming for the Fall Semester, they should attend the August Orientation. For new students coming in the Spring Semester, they should attend the January Orientation.

For new students, it is strongly encouraged that you attend orientation, look through the Incoming Student Page, and ask any questions that you have!

Schedules may change! Check your welcome folder that you receive with your residence keys for the most up-to-date schedule.

International Student Orientation Schedule

New International Student Orientation will be in mid to late August, and there is a $100 fee for this program. Four-year degree-seeking students (those on an F-1 student visa) are required to attend and pay the fee. Exchange students (those on a J-1 student visa) can choose to attend and pay the fee or choose to arrive on August 24th. They are strongly encouraged to attend orientation.

All students participating in the January '27 International Orientation should arrive at Port Columbus International Airport on January 7th and email David by December 23rd.

All students participating in the August '27 New International Student Orientation should arrive at the Port Columbus International Airport (code CMH) on August 15th and email David McDonald (davidm@muskingum.edu) by July 31st to tell him of the arrival information so a Muskingum University van can meet you at the airport.
