Welcome to Muskingum University’s Human Resources and Campus Policy website. In order to provide our students with the best possible educational environment, Muskingum must have the ability to change its various policies when the Board or Administration believes such changes are necessary. The University, therefore, reserves the right to add to, revise, or delete its various policies without prior notice and to interpret their applicability to differing situations. Muskingum’s employees are responsible for knowing and following the University’s policies, rules and guidelines as they exist from time to time. Employees, therefore, are expected to visit this website frequently to update themselves on the University’s then current policies, rules and guidelines.
Muskingum employees understand that unless they hold a written contract signed by the President which otherwise provides, they are employees at-will and may terminate their employment at any time, for any reason. The University, likewise, may terminate the employee’s employment at any time for any lawful reason, with or without cause and with or without prior notice.
