The Friends of New Concord (FONC) is hosting the 3^rd annual New Concord Community Day on Saturday, Aug. 30 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The community is invited to a full day of events and activities for the entire family. All events throughout the day include free admission, and there is no cost to participate in any games or activities.

The day starts with a Muskie Fun Run, a 1-mile run beginning at New Concord Elementary School. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. at the school, and the run begins at 9 a.m.

As the summer begins to draw to a close and students return for the start of another semester on our beautiful campus hills, Muskingum University eagerly anticipates the return of generations of alumni, families, and friends for Magenta Homecoming 2025. This year’s celebration promises a vibrant mix of nostalgia, tradition, and new experiences that capture the heart of what it means to be a Muskie family.
