Muskingum University received $1,031,039 in Choose Ohio First (COF) program funding from the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE). With this award, Muskingum has received more than $4 million in COF grant award funding over the last four years.
Muskingum University’s Office of Organizational Leadership is offering an eight-week Project Management course this summer, starting on June 9, 2025. This 100 percent online course is designed to prepare students for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) exam. The course covers key project management concepts, including predictive and Agile frameworks, business analysis, communication strategies, and leadership skills.
Muskingum University has announced that the Master and Doctor of Applied Leadership programs have been renamed to the Master and Doctor of Organizational Leadership. This change reflects the University’s commitment to providing clear, recognizable pathways for professionals seeking to advance their leadership skills across industries.
Community members ages 65 and older participated in activities that provided tips and strategies for productive aging at the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) Program’s second Older Adults Health and Wellness Fair on March 8, 2025. This year’s event doubled in attendance from last year’s inaugural event.

In late January, Muskingum University was filled with the excitement of students and alumni connecting at the second annual Impact Fair. Hosted by the Impact Center, nearly 30 employers promoted a range of job types including full-time, part-time, internship, and summer opportunities. Among the attendees were two alumni with inspiring journeys, each eager to give back to the university that shaped their careers. Luke Fabian and Brandon Walker, both graduates from the Class of 2014, brought unique opportunities and perspectives to the event.
Alumni, we’ve got fantastic news for you! The University has a new partner for branded merchandise: University Gear Shop (UGS). UGS opened the Muskingum University Gear Shop in the former bookstore during fall semester Homecoming weekend.
The campus shop is open two days a week – Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additionally, the Gear Shop sells merchandise at special events throughout the year.
