Leadership

As part of the University’s mission to educate the whole person for the whole world, Muskingum is focused on leadership development for our students, so they become problem solvers, purpose driven, and change makers. Students learn and apply information specific to leadership as they develop their leadership skills, empower followers, achieve a goal, and understand the context in which the leadership process is embedded.

There are many co-curricular leadership opportunities for students in clubs and organizations, recreational activities, and athletics. Students also can serve as peer mentors, resident advisors, orientation leaders, and tour guides.  In addition, many leadership development opportunities are available through the office of Applied Leadership and Student Life.
