Donor logos

Muskingum University SealThe Muskingum University Seal

The design for the Muskingum University Seal was adopted in 1908. The Seal is circular in shape and encloses a triangle design. The triangle represented the three-fold purpose of Muskingum – the mental, the religious, and the physical. Located within the lines of the triangle are the Latin words Omne Trium Perfectum which means "every perfect thing is three-fold."

In the center of the triangle are a Bible, a lamp of knowledge, and a laurel wreath. Radiating out from the triangle are rays of lights which are symbols of the light of God directing all things.

On the outside circle are the Latin words Sigillum Collegii Muskingensis (Muskingumensis), Nove Concordiae, which when translated mean "Sign of Muskingum College, New Concord."
