Muskingum officially kicked off the 2020 holiday season on campus during the University’s annual “Celebration of Light” on Monday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. The virtual ceremony, aired on Orbit Media’s WMCO 90.7 radio, featured remarks from President Hasseler and Chaplain Julia Wright, and a poetry reading by Dr. Jane Varley, Professor of English and Chair of the Arts and Humanities Division.

The Muskingum University Music Department will present a spring band concert on Sunday, April 28 at 7 p.m. in Brown Chapel. The concert will feature the Muskingum University Wind Ensemble and Muskingum Valley Symphonic Winds performing a program of diverse repertoire and composers. Featured soloist on the program will be Jim Lindroth, Muskingum Instructor of Percussion, who will perform Ney Rosauro’s Concerto No. 1 for Vibraphone and Wind Ensemble.
