Current Newspapers

We subscribe to the print editions of the Daily Jeffersonian (Cambridge),Times-Recorder (Zanesville), and The Columbus Dispatcht. Copies are kept for 1-3 months. Contact Josh Springer (740-826-8156 or springer@muskingum.edu) if you would like a specific issue of a newspaper.

Black & Magenta

The Library has most editions of the Black & Magenta from 1902-1980 and 1989-2014, many of which are bound. These issues are currently located in the Dentzer Reading Room. A print index covering 1919-1969 is shelved next to the bound volumes. Use the online index (PDF 545 KB) for articles appearing in issues published in 1970 to Spring 1992; 2000; and Fall 2002 to Spring 2007.
