The Golden Muskie chapter of Business Professionals of America provides technical skills such as resume writing and interviewing to Muskingum students.  The chapter is also committed to giving back to the campus and surrounding community.  Members master important skills to succeed in the business world and sharpen their content area knowledge.

INVESTMENT CLUB

The mission of the Muskingum University Investment Club is to provide students with an educational experience in the areas of equity analysis, portfolio management, and market research.  Students will build financial skill sets not learned in a traditional curriculum and can expect an open forum environment where they can learn from one another.

Meetings provide a place of gathering where like-minded students can come to share a love of the financial markets and develop skill sets that will be applicable to careers in finance and business.  The long-term vision of this club is to manage a designated fund which will give students hands-on experience with portfolio management and provide financial benefits to Muskingum University and its students.

EMPLOYMENT

The Economics, Accounting, and Business Department typically employs one or two student assistants each year.  Duties include, but are not limited to, research assistance, grading assistance, case analyses, facilitating classroom preparation, management of the annual departmental awards ceremony, tutoring assistance, and general office duties.
