December 2021 Graduates

On December 10, 2021, Muskingum University honored the accomplishments of its graduating seniors who completed their degrees during the Fall 2021 semester.

The in-person Recognition of December Graduates event featured remarks by Taylor Clemons ’21 and a vocal performance of Edith Piaf’s “La Vie en Rose” by Victoria Vankirk-Hochstetler ’21.

Addressing her fellow graduates, Ms. Clemons said “Reflecting on my time at Muskingum and what kept me motivated, it was the people who went above and beyond their job titles to help in any and every way. I hope that each of us can be there for people when we are needed and become a light in someone else’s life.”

A psychology major and John and Annie Glenn Public Service Fellow, Ms. Clemons is entering the master’s degree program in clinical mental health counseling at Malone University.

Ms. Vankirk-Hochstetler majored in music and will be continuing her education in Muskingum University’s Master of Arts in Teaching program.

A reception for the graduates and their guests immediately followed the ceremony.

On Saturday, May 7, 2022, the December graduates will return to campus to participate in the University’s 177th Undergraduate Commencement ceremony.
