Week-Long Event will Feature Interactive, Engaging Programming for Alumni; Exciting On-Campus Activities for Students
Muskingum University today announced it will honor the past, embrace the present, and look towards the future during the first virtual homecoming celebration in the school’s 183-year history, October 19-25.
‘Reunion Weekend @Homecoming’ 2020 will feature numerous opportunities for Muskie Alumni to virtually return to the University and connect with fellow graduates through Zoom class meetings, a campus tour, the parade of classes, topical panel discussions, awards ceremonies, and more. Current Muskies will have the opportunity to commemorate the annual event through a packed scheduled of activities and games on the Quad, on the East Lawn and across campus.
“Reunion Weekend @Homecoming truly is a celebration of Muskies past and present and, as an alumna myself, it’s an event I look forward to all year,” said Jen Bronner, senior director of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving at Muskingum University. “While this might not be the way any of us wanted to come together for one of the more memorable weeks on the calendar, we are very much looking forward to engaging with you. Our planning teams have created some amazing events and discussion opportunities to reconnect you with campus and each other.”
“Fall on this beautiful campus is a special time of year and we wanted to be sure to carry on the tradition of engaging students across campus through ‘Reunion Weekend @Homecoming events and festivities,” said Michael Malone, associate vice president of Student Affairs at Muskingum University. “The schedule of activities for offers something for all, and we can’t wait to safely enjoy this historic event with all Muskies.”
