Walburn named vice president of institutional advancemen
Muskingum University

Muskingum University President Anne C. Steele recently announced that Carson S. Walburn has been named to the position of vice president of institutional advancement.

"Muskingum is fortunate to have Carson join our senior administration,” said Dr. Steele. “He brings a proven track record to the job and will offer outstanding leadership as we continue to build support for Muskingum.”

Prior to joining Muskingum, Walburn served as director of the SAE Foundation, which supports the educational outreach programs of SAE International.

Previously, Walburn was the executive director of development for Washington and Jefferson College, and assistant director of the Harvard Business School Fund. He holds a master of science degree in non-profit management from Robert Morris University and a bachelor of arts degree in international relations from Bridgewater College.

As vice president of institutional advancement, Walburn will be responsible for the university’s development efforts, as well as its alumni relations and public relations functions.
