POLITICAL SCIENCE

Associate Professor of Political Science Richard Arnold recently published “Russia’s Paramilitarization and Its Consequences” in Ponars Eurasia and “De-Cossackization as a Key Part of Moscow’s Russification Agenda” in the Jamestown Foundation’s Eurasia Daily Monitor. He also delivered a presentation at Carleton University (Canada) entitled “Cossacks Between Ukraine and Russia – The Identity Side of Russia’s Full-Scale Invasion.”

WORLD LANGUAGES

Assistant Professor of Spanish Kathleen Cunniffe Pena received a Global Engagement Grant from the study abroad organization Morocco Off the Beaten Path. The grant will support Dr. Pena in a tour of  Morocco to establish connections for a future study abroad trip designed serve Muskingum Spanish and French students with visits to Southern Spain and Northern Morocco.
