WMCO weekend welcomes community
Muskingum University’s WMCO 90.7 hosted its 11th Annual WMCO Weekend on March 22-24, 2018.
The weekend’s free events for the campus and the community featured the New Concord Fire Department, the American Red Cross, and an Orbit Media open house.
Fundraising activities benefited three local charities: the Muskingum County Animal Shelter, Operation Feed of the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, and the American Red Cross.
With this year’s donations, WMCO Weekend has now raised over $4,000 and 2,500 pounds of food for the three charities in its 11-year history.
Associate Professor of Communication Dr. Lisa Marshall ’03 is the faculty station manager of WMCO.
Orbit Media is the home of Orbit TV, WMCO 90.7, and The Black & Magenta converged media outlets.
