Recruiting the Class of 2023

The Muskingum University Office of Admission hosts a variety of dynamic campus visit days to introduce prospective students to learn about the impact they can look forward to as Muskies.

During three visit days this spring, more than 350 prospective students from 11 states attended with their families, meeting Muskingum current students, faculty, and staff from across the campus.  The visitors connected with faculty members from their intended majors and toured living and  learning facilities.  Current Muskingum students led sessions on the academic and co-curricular opportunities they have experienced at the University.

Two Scholarship Day Programs hosted prospective students who have been awarded a scholarship.  Special opportunities during these events engaged prospective students in faculty-led small group discussions and impact sessions presented by current students.

Get Hooked on Muskingum: Admitted Student Day invited prospective students who have been accepted into the University. Their day included meeting faculty members within a department of interest; attending sessions about Study Abroad, Impact and Leadership Experiences; participating in a question and answer Muskie Student Panel; and enjoying activities alongside campus tour guides and members of the Muskingum Programming Board.  A special session for family members provided a panel discussion with parents of current Muskingum students.

In addition to Visit Days, the Office of Admission is open for daily campus visits Monday through Friday and select Saturdays throughout the semester. Register in advance to arrange a personalized visit.

There is still time for current high school seniors to secure a spot in the Fall 2019 entering first-year class and become a member of the Muskingum graduating Class of 2023.

If you know a student who may be a good candidate for Muskingum, please let us know by visiting Recruit a Muskie.
