Faculty Art On Exhibit At Palmer Gallery

Muskingum University’s Palmer Art Gallery is hosting the “Artistic Experiment and Exploration” exhibition from January 27-February 18, 2021.
 
The exhibit features sculptures by Muskingum Visiting Professor of Art Brittany Sievers and photographic works by Arthur Fields, Assistant Professor of Art and Director of the Shircliff Gallery of Art at Vincennes University (Vincennes, Indiana).
 
Brittany Sievers earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art from DePauw University (Greencastle, Indiana) and a Master of Fine Arts degree at Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge, Louisiana). She was recently awarded a 2021 Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award.
 
A proud Texan, Arthur Fields earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Washington University (St. Louis, Missouri) and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Photography from Texas Woman’s University (Denton, Texas). While most of his work deals with technology and social media relationships, he is currently focusing on his love for abstraction and the portrait.
 
Palmer Gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with additional hours available by appointment.
