Muskingum December Commencement

Muskingum University celebrated Commencement on Dec. 8, 2023, in the Steele Center. University trustee James (Jim) W. Schmotter ’69 addressed the bachelor’s and master’s degree graduates and was honored with a Doctor of Humane Letters degree during the ceremony.

The celebration of the Class of 2023 began on Dec. 5, with a pinning ceremony for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing students, held in the Caldwell Hall Theatre. Attended by family and friends, this meaningful nursing tradition was highlighted by the multi-generational pinning of Kristin Carlin ’23, whose mother, grandmother, and great grandmother all share the nursing profession.
