The Impact Center is the new home for the career services curriculum and is responsible for educating students on all opportunities to become career ready. We aspire to have all Muskingum students participate in at least one high impact experience, attend our professional development and networking workshops, and utilize our career planning and coaching resources.

Career and professional development is becoming a central part of a students classroom and extracurricular experiences. The Impact Center relies on partnerships with our campus community to seek innovative ways to engage with students and provide them with a comprehensive career education. Faculty and staff play a pivotal role in the career development process and there are many ways for which you may partner with the Impact Center:

Alumni Connections Visits

The Impact Center will help you coordinate and organize an alumni visit, whether you have invited an alum to campus or you need help finding an alum to present to a class or group on campus. Complete our Alumni Campus Connections Visit form.

Collaborate on Course Projects

The Impact Center can elevate your class projects into high-impact experiences. We offer community connections and career resources to enhance a students' career exploration and development. Be an Impact Center Advocate

Encourage students to utilize Impact Center resources:

• Professional development workshops and networking opportunities. Build our workshops into your curriculum to enhance your students learning experience.
• Inform students on the use of Handshake for:
  • Registration for Impact Center programs and events
  • Scheduling an appointment with a career advisor
  • Applying for a High Impact Learning Grant
  • Searching and applying for on-campus student jobs
  • Scheduling the virtual interview room
• Utilizing the free Professional Clothing Closet

Volunteer
