How the Muskie Master's Pathway Works

This pathway is designed to help you move forward faster—without overwhelming your current schedule.

  • Take up to 9 graduate credits during your undergraduate program
  • Take those credits at a reduced tuition rate

CHOOSE YOUR MASTER’S DEGREE

This pathway connects directly to two graduate programs designed to help you advance in your field.

Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL)

If you see yourself leading teams, managing change, or making an impact in your organization, the MOL is built for you.

You’ll develop practical leadership skills you can apply immediately in careers across:

  • Business and corporate settings
  • Healthcare and administration
  • Education and community leadership
  • Nonprofit organizations and public service

This program is ideal for students from any major who want to grow into leadership roles.

 

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The MBA prepares you to analyze business challenges, lead strategically, and make informed decisions across industries.

For students without a business background: You may need to complete the following prerequisites with a grade of C or better:

  • Accounting 201
  • Economics 215
  • Finance 318

These can be completed through undergraduate coursework, a business minor, or approved Peregrine Global Services modules.

Both programs require 30 graduate credit hours and are designed for efficient completion after graduation.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The Muskie Master’s Pathway is open to students from any major who are ready to take the next step.

To participate, you must:

  • Be a current Muskingum undergraduate student
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Be admitted to the MBA or MOL program before enrolling in graduate coursework

No GRE or GMAT is required.

FINANCIAL AID and tuition benefits

You can move forward without losing your financial footing.

  • Remain enrolled in at least 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester to maintain financial aid eligibility
  • Pay undergraduate tuition rates for graduate courses taken during your bachelor’s

This structure helps you reduce costs while making meaningful progress toward your master’s degree.
