Dr. Starcher's research explores the dynamic intersection of interpersonal, family, and health communication, focusing on the impact of mental illness within the family environment. Specifically, his work examines how parents and children navigate conversations about mental illness, how families manage private information related to mental health, and the broader influence of these communication processes on family members.
