Bio
Professor Phillips teaches Fundamentals of Speech, Gender Communication, Introduction to Popular Culture, History of Film, Communication Theory and Seminar Research courses. She has been an active member of the Popular Culture Association for over nearly 20 years and has served as the area chair for the Gender and Media Studies division of the Popular Culture Association for around 15 years. Professor Phillips also currently serves as the Chair of the Communication, Media, & Theatre Department.
