ACADEMIC STRUCTURE: TERMS & SESSIONS

Muskingum University offers courses in:

  • 8-week sessions
  • 5-week sessions
  • May Term

Each semester (Fall, Spring, Summer) includes multiple sessions. Students must register for the correct term and session in MuskieLink.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION & ADMISSION POLICIES

New Student Admission & Registration Policy

To register for classes in a session, new students must:

  • Be accepted to Muskingum University
  • Pay the enrollment deposit in Slate
  • Complete these steps by the Wednesday prior to the start of the session

Advisors have the authority to waive the enrollment deposit when appropriate.

Enrollment Without Full Program Admission

Students may enroll in up to 9 credit hours without being fully admitted to a degree program.

Important to note:

  • Students are financially responsible for all enrolled coursework
  • Enrollment without admission does not guarantee future program acceptance
  • Advisors can help determine whether this option is appropriate for you
