About Intercultural Awareness
The Understanding Inclusion micro-credential is an interactive, reflection-based program designed to help students navigate identity, culture, and inclusion in modern society. The course is delivered in four structured modules and focuses on how culture shapes perceptions, values, behavior, and relationships. Each module contains videos, readings, activities, and reflections that students complete independently and submit for feedback.
Each section must be completed in order, with all assignments evaluated by an Office of Cultural Engagement & Inclusion (CEI) staff member. Students will gain a deeper awareness of their own perspectives and learn actionable skills for promoting equity, inclusion, and understanding in diverse communities.
