Danyelle Gregory Named Director of Diversity, Access, and Inclusion

Muskingum University today welcomed Danyelle Gregory as the Director of Diversity, Access, and Inclusion. Ms. Gregory comes to New Concord with a wealth of experience advocating and providing mentorship for all student populations. In her new role, Ms. Gregory will work closely with student leaders, student affairs educators, faculty members, and other members of the campus community to develop and expand organizations, activities and educational programs that create an environment of affirmation and inclusion.

Since 2014, Ms. Gregory has served as the coordinator of pre-college programs at Ferris State University where she chaired various campus diversity initiatives for faculty and staff. In this role, she also facilitated campus-wide diversity presentations and lead operations of the Michigan GEAR UP program. Previous to Ferris State, she was the Division of Multicultural Affairs Assistant at Western Michigan University and College Prep Coordinator at Kellogg Community College for three years.

“Danyelle is an integral asset who will focus on the University’s goals to make campus a welcoming space for all students, faculty, staff and visitors,” said Provost Nancy Evangelista. “We look forward to enhancing and uniting our campus through impactful diversity and inclusion initiatives under her leadership.”

Ms. Gregory earned her doctoral degree in education from Ferris State University and received her master’s degree in higher education and student affairs from Western Michigan University and her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from The Robert B. Miller College.
