Art, theatre, and music events throughout November 2018 will showcase the talents of Muskingum University students:

2018 Student Competition Exhibition at the Louis O. Palmer Art Gallery.  Featuring more than 130 artworks created by Muskingum students, the exhibit runs from November 11 through December 7.  The works encompass sculpture, ceramics, photography, painting, drawing, mixed-media, 3-dimensional design, and crafts.  An Opening Reception will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.  Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and by appointment.

For further exhibit information, contact Professor of Art Yan Sun, Director of the Palmer Gallery, at 740-826-8105.

“Trap” Theatre Production, Thursday, November 15 – Saturday, November 17 at 8:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday November 17, in the Thompson Theatre of Caldwell Hall. By using interviews with witnesses, loved ones, first responders and the investigators pursuing the case, “Trap” brings to life the incomprehensible event of every audience member, but one, dying while watching a high school play.  This 2017 work by playwright Stephen Gregg has been called “unnerving, exhilarating and wildly inventive.”

For further play information call the Theatre Box Office, at 740-826-8376.

SEOSO (Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra) Concert with the Muskingum Chamber Singers, Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.  in Brown Chapel.
