Theatre Department to Present “Hamlet, Prince of Denmark,” Oct. 24 - 27

The Muskingum University Theatre Department will present its production of “Hamlet, Prince of Denmark”on campus in Caldwell Hall theatre from Thursday, Oct. 24 to Sunday, Oct. 27. The show is at 8 p.m. Oct. 24 through Oct. 26, and at 2 p.m. on Oct. 27.

“Hamlet, Prince of Denmark,” by William Shakespeare, is a story of Hamlet, portrayed by Sydney Campbell ’22, receiving a visit from his father’s ghost, the King of Denmark. He tells Hamlet to avenge his death and seek revenge. All the while, Hamlet’s uncle, the new King, is devising a plan to kill him.

Tickets are $5, or free with a Muskingum University staff, faculty or student ID, and may be reserved by calling the box office. They can also be purchased on site prior to each performance.
