Matt Turner and Samantha Brown were named Science Students of the Month for September.
Turner's major is animal studies, and he has minors in math and psychology. During the spring 2019 semester he put in 50 hours of work for his senior project at Breaking Free Therapeutic Riding Center in Norwich, Ohio. Turner will graduate in December.
Brown's majors are in biology and and public health studies, and she has a minor in psychology. On campus, she is a member of Tri-Beta, the biological honors society, and a Pre-Physician Assistant Mentor for the Science Division’s Mentoring Program. She plans to attend a physician assistant program after graduating and returning to the area as a family practice specialist.
