"May Term and More” offers undergraduate summer school opportunities
Muskingum University

Muskingum University’s undergraduate summer school program, “May Term and More” offers a broad selection of summer courses to help students accelerate progress on their degree work.

The program is open to all Muskingum students, as well as students from other schools who are in the area during the summer. Classes are offered in a wide range of academic disciplines, including art, science, literature, business, history and much more.

The curriculum lets current Muskingum students complete some of their liberal arts essential requirements, enroll in classes that they were unable to schedule during the regular academic year or ease their course load during their regular school year. For new students, the summer program offers a head start on course work during their first semester.

"May Term and More” courses are available in flexible formats, including online classes and blended classes, which are courses taught in combined online and classroom sessions. Courses are also offered in one-, five- and 10-week sessions.

The class schedule for 2010 is as follows:
May Term Session: May 10 through June 4;
Summer 10-week session: June 1 through August 14
Summer early 5-week session: June 1 through July 3

The Summer Seminars, which are one-week intensive classes, are being offered on the following schedule:
Week 1, June 7-11
Week 2: June 14-18
Week 3: June 21-25
Week 4: June 28-July 2
Week 5: July 12-16
