Dr. Conroy & Students Attend Interfaith Leadership Institute

Muskingum University Associate Professor of Religion Melissa Conroy, McCurdy “Mac” Burton ’20, and  Lauren Wisenbarger ’20, recently participated in a national 3-day gathering focused on religious diversity and interfaith cooperation training.  


The 3-day Interfaith Leadership Institute gathering in Chicago, Illinois in August 2019 brought together students and educators from colleges and universities across the country to focus on American religious pluralism and the future of our religiously diverse nation. 


Conference attendees engaged in interfaith cooperation training and shared ways to bring interfaith cooperation opportunities back to their campuses and communities.

Mac Burton is majoring in Religion and History and Lauren Wisenbarger is majoring in International Affairs and Political Science.
