Challenge Accepted: President Hasseler Participates in Ice Bucket Challenge
On May 16, President Susan Hasseler participated in the USC Speak Your Mind Ice Bucket Challenge to help raise awareness for mental health and encourage open conversations about mental wellbeing.
Magnus did the honors, and the challenge was shared on the University’s Instagram account.
“This challenge is focusing on mental health, and I cannot think of a better reason to get soaked,” President Hasseler said.
Ohio Northern University President Melissa Baumann challenged President Hasseler. President Hasseler was happy to support and raise awareness about mental health and help reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.
To continue the dialogue, she challenged Heidelberg University President Rob Huntington and University of Mount Union President Greg King.
