Muskingum University Student to Compete in US Open Pickleball Championship

Muskingum University student, Jackie Bradshaw ’25, will join more than 3,000 pickleball players of all ages and skill levels for the 2023 Minto US Open Pickleball Championships. The competition is April 15-22, 2023, in Naples, Florida.

Jackie, a Music Education major from Cambridge, plays tennis for the University. She also teaches pickleball at the Salvation Army in Cambridge.

She will be competing in women’s singles and women’s 19+ doubles. She has competed in several professional and 5.0 tournaments, where she won medals at the US Open (2022), the Cincinnati Open, Indianapolis Open, Bubly Pickleball Championships and many more.

“I am just excited to be able to compete in the best environment,” said Jackie. “Naples has a 60-court facility, and I get to complete alongside so many other pickleball enthusiasts.”

The event will be livestreamed daily on Pickleball Channel. Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the country. Information on the Minto US Open Pickleball Championships is available at https://usopenpickleballchampionship.com.
