Chris Hiner ’05 Named to “10 Under 40”

Chris Hiner ’05, President of Richland Bank, was named by the Richland Young Professionals as a 2019 “10 Under 40 Winner."

Mr. Hiner has served as President of Richland Bank for the past three years.  Throughout his 13-year banking career, he has been affiliated with the Park National Corporation, of which Richland Bank is a subsidiary.

Actively involved in his community, Mr. Hiner serves on the boards of the Richland County Foundation, Richland Area Chamber of Commerce, Richland Community Development Group, Ohio Health Mansfield and Shelby Hospitals, North Central State College Foundation, the United Way of Richland County, Richland Academy of the Arts, and Pioneer Career Center Business Advocacy Committee.

Mr. Hiner is an Orrville, Ohio native. He and his wife Amy reside in Ontario, Ohio with their children Maeley, 6 and Evan, 2.  He earned his Muskingum Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Geology and Business.  He also completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The Richland Young Professionals “10 under 40” award program honors individuals under 40 years of age who have demonstrated leadership through their professional careers, community involvement, and impact on the future of the community.
