Muskies engage with Browns executives
athletics comm students

Muskingum University students majoring in Athletics Communication and Sport Administration visited the headquarters of the National Football League’s Cleveland Browns, where they spent the day meeting with Browns’ front office executives. 

The visit was arranged by Director and Assistant Professor of Athletics Communication Tom Caudill ’05 MAE.  “This was a priceless networking experience for our students,” said Mr. Caudill.

Muskingum’s Athletics Communication program is the first of its kind in the region.  It provides students with hands-on learning in the University’s NCAA Division III athletics environment as well as opportunities to engage with athletics communication professionals from a variety of settings.  For more information on the major, visit muskingum.edu/academics/athletics-communication.

Students majoring in Sport Administration study sport management, marketing, finance, and legal issues to gain the skills needed to develop and operate sports organizations and athletic recreation programs.  Sport Administration majors also enjoy access to hands on learning in Muskingum’s NCAA Division III athletics environment and engage with sport administration professionals representing multiple roles in the field.  For more information on the major, visit muskingum.edu/academics/sport-administration.
