Muskingum University Announces Music Ensembles Annual Tour
Tour Launch Concert

Muskingum University music ensembles will present their annual tour in spring 2024. Chicago Tour ’24 is scheduled from Feb. 29-March 3 and will feature the Concert Choir, Chamber Ensembles, Wind Ensemble, String Ensemble, and Muskie Rocks performing a wide range of music across all styles and genres.

During the day, students will perform at various schools along their journey, including West Muskingum High School, Lakewood High School, Coshocton Elementary School, and Coshocton High School.

Evening performances will be given at the First United Methodist Church in Newark (88 N. Fifth Street, Newark, Ohio 43055) at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 29 and the First Presbyterian Church of Sandusky (265 Jackson Street, Sandusky, OH 44870) at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 1. 

The performance tour will involve more than 50 students and is led by music faculty Daniel Strychacz (Concert Choir & Chamber Singers); David Turrill (Wind Ensemble); and Laura Schumann (String Ensemble & Muskie Rocks). All concerts are free and open to the public.
