Daniel Jennings, a current Muskie who will graduate in May of 2019, is majoring in business management and marketing. However, he isn’t waiting for graduation to put his education into practice.
Daniel has launched a coffee roasting business out of his home – a goal of his that he decided shouldn’t wait until after graduation. Jennings Java seeks “to create a coffee catered to the consumer’s personal taste bud, while at the same time maintaining an affordable price.”
Daniel has a passion not only for coffee, but for the role it plays in people’s lives. He explains, “Some of the most important conversations people have are over a cup of coffee.”
Daniel roasts his coffee, which can be purchased whole bean or ground, out of his home in Columbus. He roasts the coffee beans immediately after receiving an order because it provides the freshest coffee possible to the consumer.
Daniel chose Muskingum because he loved the beauty of campus, coupled with the quality education he knew he would receive in the Business, Accounting & Economics Department.
