Like many alumni, Anuj Khanna has a deep appreciation for his experience, friendships and opportunities offered at Muskingum which emboldened him to pursue his career interests. The goal of the Khanna Career Connections Conference is to provide a platform for engagement for students, alumni and prospective employers and for Muskies to develop and advance their career interests and ambitions.

Mr. Khanna earned a degree in Economics & Accounting followed by an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Anuj’s career in financial services extends over 35 years, initially as an investment banker at Drexel Burnham in 1986 and subsequently at Bankers Trust, where he served as a Managing Director in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and London, helping build the firm’s Global Leveraged Finance business into one of the leading franchises on Wall Street.

Following his investment banking career, Anuj served as a Founding Partner of a private equity initiative, the Yucaipa Global Partnership Fund, together with former US President William Jefferson Clinton and The Yucaipa Companies. He later served as Chief Investment Officer at QInvest focused on investing across Private Equity, Credit, Real Estate and Equities. Over the course of his investing career, Mr. Khanna has served on the boards of several portfolio companies in the education, consumer, business services, healthcare and financial services sectors.

Anuj currently lives in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with his wife Susana. They are proud parents to Arman and Sita.

The Anuj Khanna family dedicates the Khanna Career Connections Conference to Anuj’s brother, Ashwan Khanna ’84 (1961-2023), for his life and contributions as a student and active alum who supported several important initiatives at Muskingum.
